All user actions are accessible either through a Menu on the menu-bar, or through pointing to or clicking objects. When using VAMP, the session can be saved in local XML files. Reloading the file later on allows the continuation of the analysis within the context of the previous work, or allows the exchange of results and data with colleagues. All user preferences can also be stored in local XML files. Drag and drop capability is offered for any profile, from one window to any other window, the rendering being automatically adapted (e.g. from a dot plot view to a karyotype view). An advanced printing function is offered (see 3.2.5 for details).
