2.2.3.2 User configuration

It is possible to customize the visual rendering of VAMP. The top-left panel provides a user-friendly interface for customizing the most important visual features (see section 3.2.4). Once the user has chosen his favorite parameters, he can save his configuration into an XML file, using File $\rightarrow $ Configuration $\rightarrow $ Save (see Figure 2.1)

Any saved configuration can be restored using File $\rightarrow $ Configuration $\rightarrow $ Load.

This XML configuration files also stores features that cannot be accessed directly within VAMP menus. To modify such features, just edit the XML configuration file. For example, if you change line

       <CanvasBG>ccccff</CanvasBG>

to :

       <CanvasBG>GREY</CanvasBG>

the main frame background color will switch from light blue to grey.

A sample user configuration file is given in the Annexes (see 8.2).
